Victor has never met his father and wonders if any of the men he sees could be his father. He feels he does not look like his mother or anyone else in her family, so he really wants to meet his father. He finally asks his mother and she gives him an honest answer. That's when he realizes that even without a father, he already has all the family he will ever need.
ALEXINE: There are a lot of children like Victor who are in search of one or even both parents. This is a beautiful book that they can empathize with and will hopefully help them feel complete with their current family setup.
