Three siblings divide their week between Mama's house and Papa's House. It's not a common family setup, but it works for their family and the siblings know that Mama and Papa love them very much.
ALEXINE: When Adriana and I transferred to a new home, one of the first things I did was look for this book. It was out of stock and had to be brought in from another branch and took a few days. I read it to Adriana and edited some parts to fit our story (she couldn’t read as well then). For whatever it’s worth, I feel that this book helped her. Just knowing that there was an actual book about what she was experiencing was acknowledgment that she wasn’t the only child in the world in the middle of a separation.
