Ito ang laging sinasabi ng ina sa kaniyang anak bago sila matulog sa gabi. Hindi naman iyon pansin ng bata na sa Maynila na ipinanganak.
Isang hapon, nagkumahog ang mga tao upang makauwi agad sa kani-kanilang mga bahay. Ipatupad pala sa buong siyudad ang total lockdown. Kailangang manatili sa loob ng kanilang mga bahay ang mga tao upang labanan ang mabagsik na virus na sanhi ng COVID-19.
Pero paano na ang mag-ina na sa kalye lamang nakatira? Saan sila pupunta upang maging ligtas? May kanlungan kayang kakalinga sa kanila?
“Gihigugma ko ikaw, anak.”
Magkaroon kaya ng interes ang bata na malaman ang ibig sabihin nito? Pangarapin din kaya niyang makauwi na sa lugar kung saan nagmumula ang napakagandang wikang ito?
“I love you, my child.”
This is what a mother would always tell her child before they sleep at night. But this was not noticed by the child who was born in Manila.
One afternoon, there was an announcement that the whole city will be placed under total lockdown due to an infectious disease caused by corona virus or COVID -19. Everybody was advised to stay at home to avoid contamination and widespread of the virus.
