ANG MISYON NI MANDING is the story of Armando ‘Manding’ Cabillon, a dedicated Gawad Kalinga mission worker. He grew up among seven siblings in a little hut, their parents struggled to feed them on a daily basis, they couldn’t afford medical care, and were always in debt. At one point, Manding offered to stop going to school so he could work and help his parents, but they insisted that they all get an education.
Manding became a successful engineer, and in the last 20 years, he’s served as a full-time mission worker for GK. As a child, he promised himself that he would help others who struggled like he did. Today, Tito Manding, works full-time to raise houses for the homeless, feed hungry children, teach vegetable farming, and lend money to farmers without interest.
