ALEXINE: This story is about Online Sexual Exploitation of Children (OSEC). My 10yo daughter didn't know anything about OSEC until this book, but we sat down and discussed it together. As a parent, I'm grateful this book was created, it helps me empower my child. OSEC is now at an alarming rate in the Philippines and raising awareness will help protect our children. As an added bonus, this also happens to be a wonderfully executed storybook.
ADRIANA: I really like the writing and the illustrations. But I really don't like the topic. My mom says this is reality and this make me very sad. I would still recommend this to other kids because this is really happening and if you feel very strongly about it, you can do something to help save the children. As kids, simply sharing the story is already a way of helping because you raise awareness.
