"Every person in Manila has a story to share about their encounters in traffic. From getting squished in rush hour train rides to struggling to stay awake in a 2-hour carpool, we've all developed our way of coping. At the risk of looking sketchy, Ched, Gee, Meg and Patts have been drawing these scenes to make the most of their time on the road. SKETCHY PEOPLE IN TRANSIT is their first book. It compiles sketches and stories on commute in hopes of inspiring others to start drawing on their own journeys."
ALEXINE: You need to buy this, if only for the title. Isn't it brilliant?! This could possibly the most positive-est thing that's been created from inescapable Metro Manila traffic. Even if you're not artsy, you need this book. It's full of information about getting around the metro, Pinoy culture; and it's a testament to how brave and strong (or crazy) we all are for getting up and going through it all every single day.
ADRIANA: I've never thought about sketching when we're stuck in traffic. I usually just read or complain out loud. Maybe now I'll start sketching so my mom doesn't have to hear me whine.
